DSAA (diplôme supérieur d'arts appliqués)

With its three options, the DSAA (higher diploma in applied arts) is a Master 1 type state diploma, obtained after two years study. No fees are payable and the students can apply for grants from the Ministry of Education.
There are between 30 and 35 hours tuition, theoretical and practical, per week.
As the DSAA courses are not available anywhere else in France, admission is highly selective.
At the end of the second year, the credits accumulated are validated and the diploma is awarded after the student has sat his/her viva in front of a jury of professionals. The total credits correspond to 120 ECTS.
